Using NLP In A Job Interview Guarantees Success!
Using NLP in a job interview can ensure success for both the interviewer and the interviewee.
It is not that the interview-nerves are felt only by the interviewees; studies reveal that some nervousness is also felt by the interviewers, if not equally, at least to some extent.
Whatever the reason – the anxiety of getting a good employee or being selected for a deserving position, using NLP in a job interview guarantees success!
The use of NLP techniques help one organize self as well as conduct an interview in a better manner. While preparing for a job interview, an aspirant can resort to some fundamental tools of NLP.
Basic NLP tools and techniques help boost the confidence level. The NLP strategies, at the same time, induce a state of calmness in the practitioners – a state that helps them cope with the pressure and give their best performance during the interview.
This holds as much true of the interviewer. There is no doubt that an interviewer is the ‘master’ of the occasion and hence needs to be very organized and confident – a state which can be inspired by the properly using NLP.
The one NLP tool that helps both the parties in an interview to rise to the OCCASION and floor people with a great first impression is ANCHORING.
Anchoring is all about changing a faulty, undesirable attitude to a more resourceful attitude. It involves setting up a reaction pattern to stimuli by creating an anchor for it.
The process of establishing a powerful and effective anchor is quite interesting – once the desired emotional state is identified, it is linked to an experience from the past, which successfully aroused such feelings.
When the feeling is being visualized in its completeness, it is anchored with the help of a unique gesture or a verbal expression. Next time when one is faced with such a similar situation, firing the anchor helps overcome the hurdles.
The fact that positive results are achieved quite fast and do not invite any unwarranted attention are perhaps the best advantages of using NLP in a job interview.
